I created Bloom Support Network to provide therapy that is warm, supportive, and genuinely personalised. I am passionate about working with children, young people, and families, helping them feel safe, understood, and empowered. My approach is relationship-based, collaborative, and tailored to each individual's strengths, needs, and goals.
With several years of experience in allied health and behaviour support, I have worked with children and young people with various needs, including Autism, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, developmental differences, emotional regulation challenges, trauma histories, and complex family situations. My focus is often on helping children and families better understand behaviour, strengthen emotional regulation, develop coping and communication skills, and foster confidence and connection in everyday life.
My background in criminology and psychology has influenced my perspective on people and their experiences. It has provided me with a strong understanding of how behaviour, relationships, environment, trauma, and emotional well-being are interconnected. This allows me to approach therapy thoughtfully, gently, and holistically.
I believe that therapy does not have to feel cold or overly clinical to be effective. My goal is to create sessions that are calm, engaging, practical, and supportive, while still working toward meaningful therapeutic change. I value connection, trust, choice, and collaboration, and I enjoy working closely with families and support teams when appropriate.
Outside my professional life, I enjoy baking, crafting, and gardening. These hobbies bring me joy and creativity and reflect the nurturing approach I incorporate into my practice.
Bloom Support Network is based in Western Australia and was created to be a space where children, young people, and families can feel supported as they grow, heal, and thrive.
