I am passionate about supporting people with disabilities and have experience working with clients facing various challenges, such as Autism, ADHD, Intellectual Disability, and Genetic Disorders. I approach each case with a multidisciplinary background, allowing me to understand the complex factors affecting behaviour.

 

My approach to therapy is deeply collaborative. I believe in working alongside other therapists, supports, and families to create a multidisciplinary approach that caters to the individual's specific needs. Together, we can help individuals learn emotional regulation skills, social and communication skills, and independence skills, fostering a sense of empowerment and self-determination.

Therapy can sometimes be perceived as boring, but I include many fun activities and movement-based tasks, especially when working with children. I then move to more formal one-on-one sessions for older clients who prefer a more structured approach. The sessions are all about choice and control, allowing the clients to make choices and decisions to better themselves and learn the skills they need to take control.

 

I am based in the Kwinana/Medina area and extend my services to the Mandurah/Halls Head area. I can provide compassionate and personalised support to individuals and families in need.
